RUC Rocks

General

Preparations in the Jerusalem HallOn Friday 5 March, RUC members and friends pulled out all the stops and rocked the night away to the Red Shoes Band (led by Peter Schoon). Thanks to Vyv Sayers-Boyd and her team who transformed the Jerusalem Hall into a 1960s Diner - complete with hotdog stand and jukebox! The proceeds of the evening went towards the new children’s and youth centre, the XChange.

We hear from you:

“The 1960s Dance was a real blast! The Red Shoes band really got us into the swing and the dance floor was a real jive (I mean ‘hive’!) of activity! The décor was ‘twist-n-shout’ authentic, the ambiance was electric and great fun was had by all. Lots of effort went into all aspects of the event. Well done to the team for all their ‘rocking-n-rolling’ hard work!”
