To help look after 1 to 2 year old children. 2 positions :

Be a child minder – looking after the children inside and outside in the small garden, change nappies in need, comfort them
Be an anchor – set out toys and possibly sing a song with them or play children’s Christian CDs or read a Bible Story to them

We need compassionate people to assist us in visiting the elderly and frail at Park Care Centre. We will leave from Rosebank Union Church at 9:30 if you need a lift.

Rosebank Union has a lot of ongoing design needs which can be time consuming and detract from other ministry needs. If you are well skilled in this area and have a passion for Jesus and would like to help improve our church digital and print communications, then we could really use your help!

Examples of work include the following:

Small Group Study Booklets
Event Advertising artefacts (for web, print, the digital signboard etc)
Sermon Series artwork
Specific Ministry design needs
Church-wide brochures & publications
Drupal website design, development and maintenance

In house we use the Adobe Creative Suite, so it would be preferable if volunteers were able to deliver artwork in these formats. You would need to work on your own hardware & software.

We're looking for volunteers to help us organize a professional / classy auction in early 2013. The proceeds of the auction will go towards the outstanding debt on the XChange Centre (our facility for Children and Youth ministry).

Offer a day of job-shadowing to an Alex teen. (Career counselling will be done prior to this so that the work exposure is appropriate to the student)

Offer vacation or occasional work for Alexandra students identified by Rays of Hope so that the students can become familiar with the working world.

	Mentors to an Alexandra School-Leaver
	Rays of Hope Tertiary Education Fund
	Can take place where it is convenient to you and the student. Eg a coffee shop, etc. \| About 1 hour \| Meetings should be every 4-6 weeks. Commit to one year.
	People Needed: 6. Some need to be male mentors.

To mentor, guide and befriend an Alexandra school-leaver in his or her studies or first job. These students need the basic knowledge and life-skills you take for granted!
