The aim of the prayer ministry is to make prayer a vital part of the church family’s life. We would love to have more people involved in the prayer ministry teams as well as slotting into the existing prayer groups. Here are some of the regular weekly and annual prayer events planned for this year. Please join us.

  Tuesday Ladies prayer meeting every week in the crèche 9:15 – 10:00 am.

  Missions Prayer meeting every Friday morning 6am – 7am in the staff room.

  180°s (Healing Prayer)

  
  

  Every Wednesday 10 – 12pm except on holidays and until the end of November a group of dedicated people meet to pray for those in need.

Special Prayer Events

1.  Prayer Training will take place in the Galilee Room on Saturday February 25th from 8:30 - 10:00am.  If you have a heart for prayer please feel free to join us.

2.    A Week of Prayer will take place in March from the 4th - 11th.  The focus will be prayer for Johannesburg. Further info will be sent out nearer the time.

3.   There will be a Prayer Retreat at the beginning of February starting Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th. The Retreat will be at the LaVerna Retreat centre on the Vaal. For info and booking please contact Liz on 0117846214. The facilitator will be Gavin-Sklar-Chik, well known retreat facilitator, pastor and author.  The cost is R580 person. Booking is essential as places are limited. Everyone who would like 'some quality time out' with our Lord is welcome to join us.

Focus for Jan 2012 Our Government

Sun 1st  Pray for God to raise up new leaders who do not pander to public opinion and can represent God s government based on absolute truth

Sun 8th Pray for our president - that he may have the courage to root out corruption so that we may have a government of integrity

Sun15th Pray for our national, provincial and local leaders that they may serve the people with understanding and first and foremost have the
             needs of the people at heart.

Sun 22nd Pray that the constitutional court may remain independent and be the final authority in our land

Sun 29th Pray that in all the challenges we face in our land we may look outside of ourselves to a God who is all powerful and all knowing

We now have a prayer room on the upper level next to the hospitality offices and opposite the Alpha Room. This will be operational in the New Year.
