At the Special General Meeting held on 9 November 2008, it was agreed to proceed with the building of Phase 1 of the new Children's and Youth Centre.
At the ground breaking ceremony on 22 November 2009, the name of the new Children's and Youth Centre and its logo was “unfurled”.
XCHANGE was chosen for its meaning. Apart from being a catchy name it:
- Focuses on the change that we are praying for in the lives of our Next Generation.
- The “X” is in fact a cross and this is the solution for so many in our Next Generation that are lost.
Construction of Phase 1 began early in January 2010.
